| The Curtain
Split From Top to Bottom Jesus Christ
split the temple curtain apart when he died Now we can enter in the Holy Place
where God resides For we are now God's children belonging also to the Christ, Because
He made a Way for us, those who have been born twice. His
blood was the sacrament which Christ offered for our lives, The only Son
of God Himself, to make sure we would survive. This loving act was done to
draw us closer to the Lord; The Father, Son and Hold Ghost, to form in us a
sturdy cord. Our bodies have been
washed with water sweet and pure, Our hearts have been sprinkled with Christ's
blood for the care Of our guilty conscience, false guilt or true, Because
the curtain split open for free access to God. | | Amazing It's
amazing how the Creator Of the entire universe Truly wants to be our friend, And
never the reverse. The One who
placed the stars In the sky with just a Word, In ordered constellations, Desires
only to be heard. Whenever we really
need Him In a personal sort of way, We can call Him "Daddy" if
we wish When we want to talk or pray. Our
world is an amazing place, With one amazing Father, Who holds us all inside
His hand, And it's never been a bother. When
we misbehave or disobey, It makes our Father very sad, But He's seldom really
truly Gotten absolutely mad. The
reason is that love and grace Are our Father's middle names, Which is the
very reason why He keeps growing in His fame. It's
amazing how God cares for All of us on earth And those who haven't seen,
but believe Are happy He gave them rebirth. |

| God Divided Have
you ever wondered how our Lord Can be the Godhead while still be one in Three? He's
the Father, but also His own Son; And the Holy Spirit. How can this be? Consider
yourself as the child, And yet, upon maturity, You become a parent to another
child, And try to reach integrity. You also
become an uncle or aunt, And a husband or a wife. You settle down with your
own mate, To build a God-filled home for life. Years
go by, and before you know it You're an in-law to a stranger. Grandchildren
come, and once again Your heart's divided, fighting danger. But
every time your life's invaded, You seem to have more love to give. If you
are growing strong in Christ; You know that is the way to live. Well,
this is how God divides Himself, It is not a curious mystery: He's the Head
of Three who loves us so As revealed in Christian history. |
